# How can the joint-account holder sign the PAD agreement?

Once the PAD agreement is generated, there could be 2 scenarios pertaining to this issue: 

Scenario 1: Joint user has a PADS account  

If the joint user has a PADS account, the applicant will receive an email to sign the agreement. Once the applicant completes the signing process, the joint account user will also receive the agreement for signing. 

Scenario 2: Joint user does not have a PADS account  

If the joint account holder does not have a PADS account, they will receive an email to create one. Once the joint account is created, the applicant will receive a link to sign the PAD agreement. After the applicant completes the signing process, the joint account holder will receive the agreement for their signature.
